Grosset Lenswood Chardonnay 2025
Forty-five years later, we’re more confident than ever in our wines, and more curious than ever about our vineyards. The more we discover about the connections between soil, season, and vine, the more we realize how much we still don’t know. And that’s exactly where we want to be—honoring our heritage while embracing the endless possibility of learning from our place.
A striking counterpoint to its Piccadilly sibling, this debut Lenswood expression leads with bright, fresh lemon and citrus notes underscored by a distinctive talc-like minerality. Made identically to the Piccadilly — eight months French oak, partial malo — the wine reveals how profoundly terroir shapes the final expression. The palate is notably fresh with full texture: taut where Piccadilly is layered, linear where Piccadilly expands. A compelling study in sub-regional character.
Barrel fermented exclusively in French oak barriques (40% new) for 8 months; only partial natural malolactic fermentation.
