Fides (latin translation of “trust”) represents the faith and commitment of the Pio Family towards the Barbera, cultivated only in high-profile locations and aged for a long time in the cellar. Mainly sourced from the oldest vines in the “Mosconi” vineyard in the village of Monforte d’Alba.

Balanced and harmonious with moderate acidity, very pleasant concentration of fruit, nice structure and complexity with refined finish. Extraordinary ageing potential.
“Fides” is produced in small quantity every year, since 1996.
